I am proud to share that the series of bills I passed which moved to test ALL sexual assault evidence kits has been a shining inspiration across the country. Centering the survivor in our process of sexual assault investigation and prosecution is very important to me, which is why I advocated for this change and passed it successfully! Now, this system is being proposed in San Francisco. This incredible news shows that my goal to fight for human rights and dignity is being met with the help of your generosity and support.
